While many remain glued to the announcements of best director, actor and picture at the 84^th Annual Academy Awards, a single golden statue changed the headlines for Pakistan.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Daniel Junge won the Oscar for their documentary Saving Face under the category ‘Best Documentary, Short Subject’.
