Crime: Girl shot dead in sleep

FAISALABAD: A 20-year-old girl was shot dead in her sleep in Nishatabad on Sunday. Police said some men entered Batan Bibi’s house in Chak 7-JB, shot he and fled. Her family rushed to her room after hearing gunshots and found her lying in a pool of blood. A neighbour told the police that he saw some masked men leaving the house. He said they sat in a car and fled. Her parents said they did not have any enemies and did not have any idea of who was behind the killing. The body was sent for a post mortem examination.
