Election Prep: PTI’s rural campaign from Feb 27

The PTI youth wing will help the local police in providing security to PTI leaders.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf will launch its rural voters campaign from February 27. During the three-day campaign, PTI chief Imran Khan will address gatherings in more than 60 villages and towns. Khan is expected to address 18 public meetings on the first day. He will be accompanied by Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Mian Azhar. The three-day drive will be the first phase of a three-phased rural campaign across the Punjab that will continue till April 7. The second phase will start on March 7. After April 7, the PTI will focus on Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. According to Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, the party’s Lahore region president, a comprehensive security plan has been chalked. The PTI youth wing will help the local police in providing security to PTI leaders.
