SHEFFIELD: Seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry cruised past Yu Delu 5-1 in the final qualifying-round of the 2012 China Open. The win allowed Hendry to book his place in the final stages of the event starting from March 26. Meanwhile, Marcus Campbell defeated Ken Doherty 5-2 and Peter Ebdon secured a 5-0 whitewash over Liang Wenbo. However, there was disappointment for world number 21 Marco Fu as he fell 5-1 to Jamie Jones.
