Discarded Pakistan all-rounder Rana Navedul Hasan was included in the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) squad for their four-day match against county champions Lancashire, according to ESPNcricinfo.
The match, beginning on March 27, is a traditional curtain-raiser for the English county season and will be played with pink balls under floodlights at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
However, Naved and New Zealand’s Hamish Marshall will not feature in the MCC squad for a preceding Twenty20 tournament –
featuring Lancashire, Durham and Sussex – with India’s Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly taking their spots.
