The anti corruption circle of FIA recovered Rs1 million allegedly paid as a bribe.

The anti corruption circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested the chief engineer and an assistant executive engineer of the Public Works Department (Pak-PWD) and recovered Rs1 million allegedly paid as a bribe from their possession.
FIA officials said that they had received a complaint against the two men by a contactor who accused chief engineer Hafiz Ramazan and assistant executive engineer Khadim Hussain of demanding Rs1 million as gratification. He asked the FIA to raid their office, where they had called the contractor, and arrest them red handed, the officials said. FIA Punjab Director Waqar Haider had directed Deputy Director (Multan) Noor Khan to take action on the complaint.
