MANCHESTER:

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is eyeing victory in both the Europa League and the Premier League after a 4-0 victory over Porto in the European competition.

“We hope so,” said Mancini of the possibility. “We want to try to get to the final if possible. But it’ll be difficult because the Europa League has top squads – Manchester United, Valencia, Schalke – it’s like the Champions League.”

Mancini has also drawn a line under his long-running dispute with Carlos Tevez.

“I don’t have any problems with him. Carlos knows the team very well and he’s a top striker so it would be good to have him back.”
