As the PPP has held before, Malik blamed former president Pervez Musharraf for the murder, charging that he not only knew of the murder — carried out by the late Baitullah Mehsud — but had also abetted it by failing to put in place proper security. The report contents in Lahore also stated that Musharraf had organised the hasty and illogical press conference, held hours after the killing by the then Crisis Cell Management in charge, Javed Iqbal Cheema. Senior police officers were also blamed for failing to allow an autopsy. We have heard much of this before; it offers little that is really new.
The revelation by Malik that former students of the Darul Uloom Haqqania — one of the largest and best known seminaries in the country — were involved, does however, offer food for thought. The allegation is that the plot was hatched at the seminary, mainly to punish Benazir for her role in the Lal Masjid operation, carried out, of course, under Musharraf. This adds something of a new twist to the tale, given the standing of the seminary. Its founder, Maulana Samiul Haq has immediately denied involvement — but the account given, provided that it is backed by sufficient evidence, should make us think harder about the role played even by the better known seminaries in our country. Even if little that is truly startling has emerged from the minister’s remarks, it is a good omen that the report has been discussed in public and lies open before all of us to consider.

The fact is that she was informed, not come to Pakistan, there are chances of your murder, but she put every thing aside and come.
First she was attacked in Karachi but fortunately Allah save her. Front line party figures made no amendments in her safety arrangements.
It is also very important that who, inside the vehicle advised her to stand and get her face out, It is a very important question but not raised at any stage of the case.
Investigation reports has left specific line of action, should carry on and reach the real culprit and those, who provided assistance and involved indirectly in that horrific murder crime.
Investigation made by top level quarters provided no help to come to the acceptable result. On the other hand it created more complications.
As every one know that Taliban and The United States with NATO forces are in arena and combating for more than ten years,Both the parties in war are not ready to tolerate each other ally.mere doubt compelled them to kill and attack.
It was open not secret Benazir Bhutto was coming Pakistan as close ally of the United States, that was intolerable for Taliban.
So they hatched conspiracy to murder her,for this purpose a suicide bomber was prepared and other persons to attack who were succeeded in the mission.
This is a reality,Any person not involved in that unfortunate murder.
Mr. Shah. I would recommend you do some research why it was made public. A resolution in the Sindh Assembly was passed to make it public. Hence, the parliamentarians asked for it. And the UN report was made public too long time back so it has nothing to do with elections.
@Cautious: You have nailed it bro! Thanks. With the strangle hold of army even BB's own kids can do nothing against the killers of their mother. It is the same way that BB could not do anything against the killers of her father ZAB. In that case his killers were very well known. PPP's oponents can claim that Zardari was BB's killer but they cannot say that BB was her father's killer and that is why she never pursued that case! Lies, lies and more lies to blame the victim. Regards, Mirza
