Four senior members of the group were killed in an ambush overseen by the intelligence ministry in Sistan-Baluchestan province, IRNA said.
It added that a policeman was also killed in the gunfight.
It did not provide further details.
Jundallah (Army of God), whose leader Abdolmalek Rigi was hanged in June 2010, has waged a deadly insurgency in southeastern Iran for almost a decade. It has claimed a number of attacks against civilians and officials in the region.
Overwhelmingly Shiite Iran has a significant Sunni ethnic Baluch minority in Sistan-Baluchestan, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Iranian officials claim the group has received support from the intelligence services of the United States, Britain and Pakistan.

Thats the way to do it...if you put them on trial they will get free due to lack of evidence because the witness will be killed on his way to court ( this is the famous way of getting free of a terrorist group in Pakistan). The best thing is when you can kill the parasite why harbor it in jail where he can rot other prisoners.
It would appear that they were ambushed - just like when they killed Pakistani's. - no attempt to capture or put on trial.
According to Pakistan’s former Army Chief, retired General Mirza Aslam Baig, the U.S. supports the Jundullah terrorist group and uses it to destabilize Iran and Baluchistan. Baig knows what he is talking about, as he was on the inside track when the CIA and Pakistan’s ISI created al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
Well Done... Come to Baluchistan and get rid of our terrorists as well while you are at it... Our guys seem to be sleeping at the wheel or too busy chalking land in defence housing schemes for themselves.
