In response to a question at the State Department daily press briefing, Nuland said that the US respects Pakistan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. She added that Pakistani Ambassador Sherry Rehman and Islamabad had reached out to the US on resolution.
"The United States respects the territorial integrity of Pakistan. Members of Congress introduce legislators on many foreign affairs topics. But they do not in any way imply US government endorsement of those positions. And we don't generally comment on pending legislation," State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said at the daily briefing.
Last week, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher introduced a house concurrent resolution asking that Balochistan be given the right of self-determination.
Nuland said that on the subject of Balochistan, they encouraged all parties to work together.

US respects Pakistan's territorial integrity but does not consider Baluchistan as part of Pakistan
US is as much an enemy of Pakistan is as India and Israel are
She is saying right and she is right on her stance because US respects only Pakistan's land's territorial integrity not aerial's territory's integrity.
Love it or Hate it, US is not going any where , its part of your life, So its better to Love it
Thanks God, they said something to pacify the situation. However, let's hope our nation does not go back to sleep after hearing this and gives undivided deserving attention to Balochistan
How much they respect, we all know. The drones are still flying on our Territory and firing at will.. We have lost all self respect, that is it...
Thank you Miss Nuland for highlighting the need to resolve Baluchistan issue, please advise us how to stop drone strikes in tribal areas, the inocent people of tribal areas have unanimously requested to stop the strikes, also an area of concern for the US authorities worried for the well being of pakistanis.
