LONDON: Heavyweight boxer Dereck Chisora could face a life ban after his press conference brawl with British rival David Haye, according to British Boxing Board of Control General Secretary Robert Smith. Chisora was detained by police along with trainer Don Charles at Munich airport as he prepared to board a plane home following his astonishing altercation with Haye, who he threatened to shoot. Smith said a life ban could not be ruled out as punishment for Chisora’s actions. “The board members have many powers — they can fine, suspend and withdraw a licence,” said Smith.
