Communal action: Police, villagers confront bandits

SHIKARPUR: A firing incident between a group of bandits and police here resulted in two of the bandits getting killed, and a villager getting injured. The incident occurred in village Abdullah Buriro, within the jurisdiction of Khanpur police station, on Sunday. The slain bandits were identified as Ghulam Sarwar Jatoi and Jatt Jatoi, the latter of whom was wanted by police authorities in over 20 cases and carried a Rs500,000 bounty on his head.
