Improving Yields: Free fish-farming workshop to be held

Awareness regarding modern techniques for fish farming will also be created.

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Fisheries Department Fisheries Research and Training Institute is arranging a six-day fish-farming training course for fish farmers starting from February 20. Participants will be given the latest scientific information about fish farming. Awareness regarding modern techniques for fish farming will also be created. The farmers will be trained to establish new farms and upgrade old ones. The course will be held in fisheries sub-training centre in Rawal Town, Islamabad. Those interested in participating in the course can enrol at the Fisheries Institute office, or by calling them on 051-9255833. Participants will be provided free-of-cost residential facilities during the tenure of the course and there are no additional fees for the course.
