Second Marriage: Killed ‘for stopping husband’

A team had been formed to carry out raids to arrest the suspect.

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed in Ghulam Muhammadabad on Saturday allegedly by her husband for prohibiting him from marrying second time. The FIR registered on the complaint of Muhammad Masood, father of deceased Rashida Bibi, 32, accuses her husband Hafiz Muhammad Yaseen of choking her to death following an argument over the issue at their home in Bhaiwala. Ghulam Muhammadabad police have sent the body to Allied Hospital for an autopsy. They said a team had been formed to carry out raids to arrest the suspect.
