Demands: Millat-e-Jafria to protest if demands not met

The leaders demanded that Aurangzeb Farooqi of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat should be arrested.

The leaders of the Millat-e-Jafria demanded a judicial inquiry into the murder Pasban-e-Jafria leader Askari Raza, who was killed on December 29 near Gulshan-e-Iqbal.


While speaking at a press conference on Saturday, former senator and Millat-e-Jafria leader Maulana Abid Hussain Al-Hussaini said that the decision made at Governor House were being disregarded and nothing was being done about Raza’s case. He asked the president and prime minister to take notice of the Punjab law minister and his support for banned groups. The leaders demanded that Aurangzeb Farooqi of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat should be arrested and Crime Investigation Department SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan should be suspended.
