KARACHI:

The Pakistan Squash Federation's (PSF) training camp in Islamabad will undergo a 10-day break as nine out of 11 attendees  will take part in various ranking events.

However, it has been revealed that the non-Punjab players received only Rs1,000 a month by the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF). The Punjab players, however, received Rs2,000. They have also been bearing expenses of participating in events without the PSF's help but coach Jamshed Gul has promised a change.

"I've given a proposal to the PSF about how to fix the financial state of the sport," Gul told The Express Tribune. "Once we get funding, tickets, daily allowances and accommodation will be given to the players."

Sheikh Saqib Yousaf, Waqas Mehboob and Farhan Zaman will compete in the Doha Bank PSA Challenger event, while Danish Atlas will be play in Kuwait along with Farhan Zaman and Nasir Iqbal.
