Personal Enmity: Larkana professor shot dead

Students of Degree college boycott classes to protest against the murder.

LARKANA: Two men shot at Prof. Ali Dino Shar as soon as he entered Isra Public School, in Miro Khan Chowk Broha Mohallah, on Friday.

He was a known literary figure, a poet and a member of the Larkana Arts Council.

Prof. Shar was rushed to Chandka Medical College and Hospital but he did not survive his injuries.

The police believe that he was killed over a personal enmity. Shar was the owner of Isra school and was also a professor at Degree College, Larkana.

No case was registered, even by the professor’s family, till this report was filed. The body was handed over to the family after legal formalities were completed.

On January 2, a Sindh University professor was shot dead on campus, sparking an outcry from teachers and students. Their protest continues.
