Just not cricket (II)

KARACHI: With reference to Pakistan’s terrible loss to England in the first Test match at Trent Bridge, may I ask the PCB and the selectors why they recalled only Mohammad Yousuf to the side – why not ask Younis Khan to return as well?

The side is very short of experience and instead of asking for both these seasoned batsmen to return they have dropped Danish Kaneria and replaced him with Raza Hasan, who is only 18 and a spinner. As for Kamran Akmal, it boggles one’s mind as to how the management is still thinking of playing him despite his terrible performance. The time has come to give a chance to the other wicket-keeper.

Younus Khan is already their playing for Surrey. He should have been selected with Muhammad Yousuf but this is all Butt personal issues with him that he has not been selected.
