Team returned from Bangkok after finishing runners-up at the HSBC seven-a-side series tournament.
The Pakistan national rugby team returned from Bangkok after finishing runners-up at the HSBC seven-a-side series tournament, according to the country’s rugby union. Pakistan had included eight new and two under-20 players, and surprised followers after registering a 31-7 win over UAE in the semi-final before going down in the final. Overall, Pakistan finished sixth in the eight-team event. The Pakistan Rugby Union stated that the goal was to give the players international exposure.
