Earlier in the day, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani welcomed Afghan President Hamid Karzai at the President House.
In a meeting at the Prime Minister House, Gilani and Karzai discussed a range of issues, including the regional situation and bilateral ties, which have been hit by mistrust following recent cross-border attacks. The two leaders also discussed ongoing efforts for restoring peace in conflict-hit Afghanistan, such as US’ negotiations with the Taliban in which both Pakistan and Afghanistan have felt neglected by the US.
The meeting was followed by delegation-level talks. Prime Minister Gilani was assisted by Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan and Commerce Minister Amin Fahim. The PM’s advisers Asim Hussain (natural resources) and Hafeez Shaikh (finance) and minister-in-waiting Engineer Shaukatullah were also present.
Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani and Inter-Services Intelligence Director-General Lt-Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha were also in attendance.
The Afghan delegation included Karzai, Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul and Defence Minister General Abdul Rahim Wardak. Afghan National Security Adviser Rangin Dadfar Spanta, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Jawed Ludin, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan Muhammad Umar Daudzai and other senior Afghan government officials also attended the meeting.

The three leaders have much in common -- their own people don't like them - their economies are on the verge of collapse - they don't trust each other - they all dislike the American's - the American's dislike all of them, and most of the World has a poor opinion of them. Hard to believe this meeting is going to resolve any meaningful issues.
Amir khan did a great job in the three idiots. What a cast of characters!

.Rasgulla and Ayatulla . The meaning of this projection of thought should be understood by the trio . Rasgulla is a product of Calcutta which had been taken by KA BULI WALA to Afghnistan .
Wellcome Mr. President
Vienna,February 16,2012 Bismillah, Rosgollah & Ayatollah summit is welcome. Allah Hafiz. At one time Pakistan considered Dr.Hamid Karzai no more than Kabul Mayor. Now he has an elevated status as neighbour. So has Ahmedinezad, who needs to break away from international isolation. I welcome the development towards co-operation than confrontation. I hope the summit is not under duress since both Pakistan and Iran are under immense pressure and Dr.Hamid Karzai is more at ease. If the summit succeeds it is good signal for world peace and prosperity of region. Iran Pakistan India pipeline should be operational at the earliest as much as TAPI is top priority.
