Dengue awareness: Seminar held for schoolchildren

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC) in collaboration with the local government and the All Pakistan Private Schools Alliance (APPSA) on Wednesday organised a seminar on the elimination of dengue larva.

The seminar, held at the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium, aimed at spreading awareness about dengue fever among schoolchildren. APPSA chairman Sadaqat Husain Lodhi presided over the seminar that was attended by school children from private schools. Teachers of private institutions delivered keynote lectures and stressed the need for adopting precautionary measures in order to eradicate dengue. District Coordination Officer Naseem Sadiq also addressed the participants and appreciated the efforts of schools in the anti dengue campaign.
