Special Children: Handicraft exhibition concludes

Baitul Maal chairman praises Tanzeemul Lisan for providing education and vocational training to special children.

FAISALABAD: A two-day exhibition of handicraft and art made by special children of Tanzeemul Lisan ended at the premises of the institute near Dhobi Ghatt on Saturday. Bait-ul-Maal district chairman Faqeer Husain Dogar had earlier inaugurated the exhibition on Friday in a ceremony attended by District Officer (Social Welfare) Chaudhary Sarfraz, Tanzeemul Lisan General Secretary Iftikhar Ahmad, Principal Kalsoom Iftikhar and teachers and students of the institute. The Baitul Maal chairman praised the institute for providing education and vocational training to special children. He said the government realised the importance of such facilities for special children and was committing to assisting organisations working for the purpose.
