The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) has banned Shezan drinks from subordinate court complexes and vowed tough action against those found buying or selling Qadiani-owned products on court premises.
The decision was reached on Thursday at the LBA’s bar room in the LDA plaza following a motion by Advocate Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry, president of Khatme Nabuwat Lawyers Forum (KNLF).
LBA president Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali told The Express Tribune said that more than 100 lawyers unanimously voted for the ban on Shezan drinks for being the product of Ahmadis. The house also vowed to ban other products at a later stage.
Zulfiqar said that the association had launched a campaign to ensure a complete ban on Shezan drinks in subordinate court canteens etc. He said that he had constituted a team to enforce this decision. He added that strict action would be taken against canteen owners found selling Shezan drinks in subordinate courts.
KNLF President Advocate Choudhary said the LBA president had directed LBA Vice President Rana Javed Bashir Khan to coordinate enforcement of the ban in sessions courts, district courts, banking court, special court, Aiwan-i-Adl, in Model Town and Cantonment courts.
Several canteen owners, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the decision would hurt Ahmadi lawyers. They said it was far from clear how such initiatives will promote the welfare of the lawyers’ community.
Speaking with The Express Tribune Advocate Asma Jahangir said the resolution was condemnable. She said that it was also against the law. All lawyers are equal members in the LBA irrespective of their religion, she added.
She said if some lawyers did not like the product they could stop using it but not enforce bans.
Some Ahmadi lawyers, also speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that the decision was condemnable and would hurt Ahmadi lawyers. They said that they had participated in LBA elections and even supported LBA leaders irrespective of religious differences.
They said the decision had disappointed them. They added that they would speak with the LBA executives and request that they take back the decision.

Simply a very shameful act by lawyers of LBC. These lawyers have denied the thoughts of Quaid i Azam for a peaceful and progressive Pakistan. Is there any one in the government agencies who can stop such non-sence activities by these religious extremist who are spoiling the image of Pakistan in this world and througing us back in stone ages.
Think Twice Pakistan has taken an initiative to highlight the social and cultural issues.
Pakistan has one of the best juice factory Shezan and its other products are also one of the best. Pakistanis should be proud of it. Shame on such Advocates and their followers.
@ayesha: bravo!
Beware of PTI, it is going to enforce khilafat and take everyone back to stone age....it suits them!!!!
@Adnan Here is an idea why dont you make a movie maybe you will become the next Steven Spielberg. Name it Mullah#1 (this better idea than Jurassic Park). You can take the lead role. I am sure you will easily get funding for it too. Just go to Mulana Diesel or Mulana jamat-e Islami. Just make sure you take lots of halwa with you and say IshaAllah after every 5 words. I am a Muslim so do not dare call me an Islam basher. Yes I am a Mullah basher cause Mullahs are a major reason why Pakistan is so screwed up today and is surviving on begged money.
@Adnan Sb,
Mullahs are not in fraction, there is a sea of them out there. What Pakistan are you living in. We have 2 types of Mullahs. Mullahs with beard and Mullahs with beard in their tummies. Tell me one thing that any Mullah has ever made. EVER. Nothing! You do not become Walt Disney, CNN, Google or Goldman Sacs if you hate every American/ British, Indian, Jew, Hindu or Black person (thats like half the world). Tolerance is the first ingredient that is required to become something. Unless one wants to become a desi politician of a small poor uneducated region of Pakistan. As far as what "us liberals" have done for Pakistan. With people like you in majority living there no one can do anything for this country. Thats why liberals like us are moving to better more prosperous countries where we have in abundance everything. Electricity, Gas, Law & Order, Rules etc. Who cares if my neighbour is jewish or Hindu or an Indian. Atleast he is tolerant, educated and makes a halal living.
@Ayesha:
OK every Pakistani is Dumb. Can you please tell me Ms. IAmSmarterThanThou that what you and other modern Pakistanis have done so far that could make Mullahs and other feeling ashamed and guilty.
Mullahs are only in fractions so that practised Muslims. Can you or some liberal claim what good they have done so far that could defeat Jews let alone Mullahs? As far as I know, no Mullah stops anyone to become next Apple,Google or Microsoft.
Ah but maybe Mullah and Islam bashers re more drawing expert than expert in anything which is meaningful.
Every person has to practice his chosen religion. Let us stop asking what relgion a person follows and instead ask what he can do for Pakistan.
Using these dumb peoples logic the world should be mostly Jewish by now. Their one company Apple profit more than twice Pakistans entire export for the year. But I assure you there are more people living in Karachi than there are jews in the world. Simply because the jews are busy making something while the muslims are busy over eating and destroying their own country and then blaming the rest of the countries for it. Move on Pakis, into the 21st centuary.
@omar farooq:
True. Very very True
@omar farooq:
Please get your facts straight before you post such ignorant remarks. Thanks.
Unbelievable hypocrisy! It’s quite tragic that the very same people that ban this fruity drink, are probably taking pleasure from liquor in their saloons. These people are a shame; they wear the mask of Islam, and know nothing about its teachings–utterly distasteful
Why ban shezan? After all look at how popular it is in pakistan. If shezan is getting banned than why not ban pepsi or cell phones after all they are created by non-muslims. I second all the motions in the article.
Do they have the legal right to ban a drink on premises which are not their property. Someone should challenge it.
I am encouraged by the reaction. Pakistan is living with courageous people. It is strange that only 100 lawyers were able to speak for Lahore Bar which has thousands of members. Don't they have any rule for quorum.
@rashid khan: Just saw your lord of the last benches..Its HILLARIOUS...me and my friend who are both lawyers agree to that totally... God bless you for speaking the truth!!
Im a lawyer myself and a member of the sindh bar Council. I feel ashamed by the narrow minded and uneducated decision taken by the LBA. God help our country from these Blind with hate people. If lawyers dont act educated whos next? Now we should expect that one day doctors would ban panadol cause its made in a non muslim country.
Please Lahore Bar stop being cheap. And try and improve the court structure to provide people with justice THAT IS YOUR ONLY ROLE!!!
I, have a few better Suggestions, 1-They should ban the practice of Ahmadi lawyers altogether. 2-They should stop them to buy food from us(The true Muslims). 3-They should banned Ahmadis from using our roads. and lastly @-They should stop the Ahmadis from Inhaling our pure Air.
They foolish become to the peoples of Pakistan to say that “Aaj Mullak Ke Jo Hallat Hein Iss Mein America Aur Beroni Takatein Molowas Hein” I have to say hereby that just you want to ruin up to Pakistan not someone else you for God sake don’t do such sins for progressive and brighten future of Pakistan. Awake up! enemies of the great Pakistan you are...!
What a shame! Jews and Christian brands are welcome, western and American Brands are welcome!! but a local brand is banned, from so-called educated class of the country!
Educated illiterates..
@Adnan: So if i live in a gated community of houses and 15 out of 20 houses votes in favor of killing any person with a beard that enters our society, then I have every right to do it and Pakistani law should not punish me? All the "liberals", human rights organization etc should also support our community coz we voted and did it based on freedom of choice principles?
Lahore Bar Association comes under the Pakistani Law and they have to adhere to constitution and laws of Pakistan. This vote goes against our constitution which gives equal rights to all Pakistani regardless of their religion. Therefore, the vote is illegal, baseless and must be condemned.
Drink international Cola drinks, Increase the GDP of US and fund its illegal wars all over the globe....but turn a poor daily wage PAKISTANI worker at a PAKISTANI company jobless. Makes perfect Sense!!
Freedom is the ability to go to the canteen and choose what you want from a range of lawful products. It means the freedom to choose. That freedom of choice has been denied by some self-opinionated, thuggish extremists who want to restrict the range of products for sale in the canteen based on their own narrow, ignorant, sectarian prejudice.
Democracy is based on the concept of fairness and equality. It is wrong to victimise and discriminate against people on the basis of their race, religion, colour or sex. For lawyers to do so reduces those that love Pakistan to despair.
Is it really too much to expect a bit of unity and tolerance? Without it, Pakistan will continue to splinter into division and hatred as ignorant bigots (like those who voted for this resolution) divide Sunni against Shia or Ahmadi, Muslim against Christian, and province against province. It will re-ignite the communal unravelling which has already led to the loss of East Pakistan
Momineen will be pleased to know that PTI led Lahore High Court bar has immediately banned Shezan products from LHC bar premises.
If anyone had any misgivings about Imran due to his, ahem, less than shar-aee past, then know that once imran is in power we will once again see the revival of the golden era of Hazrat Zia-ul-Haq. Inshallah.
PS: No yahoodi products have been banned as we do not want to offend bibi Jemima. We hope momineen will understand.
The person who was at the forefront of this historical resolution was a PTI nominated lawyer..So much for equal rights for all...Answers Mr. Imran Khan?? =/
Pakistan is doomed!
Pakistan calls itself an islamic country? <<<<< LOL
@Justice: "Let us request Imran Khan and PTI to take action against Lahore Bar President Zulfiqar and Hamid Khan, both PTI leaders."
What a laugh. PTI will ignore this news item.
They've banned Shezan it is owned by an Ahmadi. What about Coke it's owned by a Jewish ???? Say shame shame to these lawyers.!!
"Qaba kis moon se jao ge Ghalib Sharam tum ko magar nahin aati"
@Ziaahmad: because banning something is taking away the 'individual's right' to choose...is that so hard to understand???
@Hamza Balouch(@H_Balouch): this is not democracy. democracy follows certain norms. this is might is right and rule of the jungle.
@ht312:
Use same logic when France or other countries put Burqa Ban
@Hamaad Haider:
Really? why don't you use same reasons when Blasphemy is done or when govt put ban on Facebook and sites who disrespect Prophet Muhammad(Saw)? At that time you guys chant freedom?
Somebody needs to redefine Irony and Hypocrisy.
@Haris Farooq who asks "Are we progressing or heading back to dark ages slowly and gradually?"
Did you really have to ask that question. Because if your father's generation had asked that question, it would have made sense.
You know exactly where your country is headed. It's not even a rhetorical questions, because, rhetorical questions have the ability to provoke a person. Your question is lame.
Another big disappointment, can you turn to anyone for justice anymore?
such a xenophobic and illiterate lawyers we have. proud of the SO CALLED independence of judiciary. Why SUPREME COURT dont take sou muto.
This is the reason that our country is under-developed. Congregation of xenophobic people is not democracy.
There is no such thing as absolute freedom. You are free to move, but that does not mean you can inflict physical injury. You are free to speak but that does not mean you have the license to harm, defame or hurt someone. You have freedom to think but not to force your thoughts, religion or belief on anyone. Democracy does allow for all these freedoms, but paradoxically limitation is the most important ingredient of freedom as absolute freedom of one would then mean loss of freedom of another.
@Adnan:
A ban is not a freedom of expression. Your freedom ends at other person's nose. This is what Maya did wrong and what Lawyers did wrong too.
@Umer:
But they did not participate which shows they were either not interested or was silently favoring it. There is no Should or Could here. Its a democratic decision and being a democracy lover liberals should respect rather getting fanatic and chanting Like Right wingers.Calling it bigotory is actually making you a bigot.
Offcourse u r free to protest and Drink Sheezan or Sharab whatever u want. Similarly lawyers are free to ban or not drinking it.
Useless whining against Qadyanis is not going to help you or anyone. In a protest u can ban using all products make by Muslims in Pakistan. Who stops you?
Preaching stats from home, the freedom of speech you preach, you should act upon it first.
I love Sheezan!! it reminds me of my childhood..
Shame on the Lahore High Court, its professional councils and associatinos, and a majroity of its lawyers. One really questions if the they are capable of providing any justice at all. The following is the lawlessness and extreme mindset:

Blurred is the line between law and crime at the Lahore High Court.
@American Desi:
He is rather busy in important things.
There is now a "I'll Drink Shezan" group on Facebook. Drink a juice. Post a picture.
@Adnan:
It just means the 900 Lawyers did not mind the ban. Not good enough, they should have actively protested against the ban.
Protest on this ban is also for freedom. Lawyers’ freedom to have one or the other drink was not effected in any way before the ban. However after the ban Ahmadis’ freedom to have equal opportunity is taken away yet one more time. This bigotry is indefensible.
shameful act!!!!!!!!!!
@Farrah:
They are free to do what they want. Freedom of Expression which you begged in Maya Khan case.
1934, "Night of the Long Knives"..we don't have Brown Shirts, we have b e a r d s..... obscene, disgusting, it makes me ashamed to be a Muslim..this is NOT what I am, nor have ever been, and if I have to wage a jihad against mullahs, I will gladly do so..
Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Eliahe Rajeoun.After reading this news i just remembered that incident when in the time of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Quriash decided to close muslim in one vally and stop selling or giving anything to these muslims to stop them to beleive on ONE ALLAH and on His Messenger.So these lawyers are stimulating other people by this action to behave with ahmadies same like quriash did with muslims.Now lets think who is right and who is wrong?For God sake stop destroying and pulling pakistan in stone age by these actions.May Allah guide you to right path because you dont know where your actions and ignorance is taking you.
With Shezan banned , lets all drink Jewish owned Coke and Pepsi products. What power these 100 laywers have to stop one from drinking Shezan product anyhow???
Long live the LLBs or lords of last benches that is what law students were referred to at one time because most of them were characters that could not make the grade for acceptance in other professional education streams or they lacked the ability to do anything else. Except for the few brainy and hardworking individuals who have earned fame and fortune from professional ability I would place the majority of blackcoats at the lower range of the intellectual scale. The average lawyer today is a beneficiary of the void created by the massive brain drain in the country and the reluctance of a lot many more upright and capable individuals to step into this profession (given the sleazy doings at the lower courts). Today the fraternity of the lawyers is exploiting the goodwill earned by successful campaign of the CJ against the dictatorship but in their short sightedness they fail to realise that their own deeds and actions are the symbols of suppressing opposition, beliefs, ideas and criticism they profess to resist. Is there any difference between them and fascist or even dictators, hardly any, while the later are armed with weapons and physical coercion the lawyers’ use their fists, bullying tactics and threats of legal actions on fake accusations to have their way. It is the saddest day for any nation when such individuals are taking seriously and allowed to continue their ways.
Shezan provides employment to so many Pakistanis without discriminating against anyone on religious grounds. This is such a wonderful way to thank Shezan!
@Adnan: Who said "we" accepted the ban on burqa in France? you are putting every liberal person in the same boat. Infact, many liberals opposed this law coz it takes away fundamental right from women to choose how she wants to get dressed. If we follow your logic then when the right wing US media says "Every Muslim is a terrorist" they will be right. But thank God not everyone thinks like you. Here is a simple logic for you if you cant understand it then i think there is no point in replying to your comments: Lahore bar association operates in Pakistan, therefore it comes under the Pakistani Law and constitution and if they try to implement something that is against the Constitution of Pakistan, then it is illegal and must be scrapped. This "voting" goes against the fundamental rights and principles section (Article 8-28) mentioned in the constitution of Pakistan which guarantees equal rights to all its citizens regardless of their religious beliefs. PERIOD...
Now they can sit in their cafeteria and drink Pepsi and Coke and indirectly fund Iraq and Afghan wars, while the poor PAKISTANI who works in Shezan factory on daily wages will be jobless...makes perfect sense!!!!
@Adnan:
Ahmadis are persecuted much more than burqa ban and this latest act by Khatm-e-Nabuwat extremists is just an addition to the on going persecution; how can you compare the two? On the other hand burqa ban came much later than the persecution in Muslim countries so one can say burqa ban is partly a reaction to Muslim extremism.
@Hamza Balouch(@H_Balouch):
You are implying that most of the lawyers and by extension most of the population of Punjab are religious bigots. If this is the case then is democracy really for them?
Also by this standard oppression of smaller provinces for example is justified as Punjabis are in majority and by your rule of democracy they can do whatever they like. We can extend it to other countries too and then in India anything can be done to Muslims by the majority as per your democracy.
This kind of step taken by some of the learned lawyers is out of place and discriminatory. Commonsense and logic rejects it so should be done by the sound minded lawyers and Bar members.
Lawyers used same tool which france use to put ban on burqa, when ppl can accept that then why not this?
If 900 others didnt vote in favor means they were not interested ir endorsed silently
You liberals are insane and hypocrites, just a few week back u guys were attacking Maya khan thar she doesnt respect freedom. Now what u guys r doing? Just like u r free to drink sheezan or sharab then give same liberty to others, after all u guys r freedom champ and demands it. Its insane to equate it with murder. Naturally u guys sendind intolerence message to outer world
This is not only shame full, insane and disgusting also showing the level of education of lawyers. What has gone wrong with the lawyers? What they are proving by this ban? They are very good Muslims or ignorant followers of fanatic Mullahs.
Very condemnable incident. What a image these people are propagating of Islam and Pakistan ?
@Adnan: Constitution of Pakistan gives equal rights to all Pakistanis. These lawyers are supposed to protect the constitution. Even voting on this subject is illegal and unconstitutional. If 7 out of 10 police officers kills someone in the police station, it is not called democracy it is called murder!
@Adnan: This is not freedom of speech, you are taking away freedom of speech and expression by taking away choices. It was unanimously passed by the bar not everyone on in the court complex voted on it or would want to ban it. Targeting a minority by banning a product is not freedom of speech. its discrimination. How would you feel if the American courts banned Muslim products in their court complexes? Besides there is no evidence that Shezan is Qadyani, they deny it. So they don't get any say?
Hahaha, wow, such absurd people in this country. Whats hilarious is that despite being lawyers they are so uninformed and petty. Many shezan company shares that were owned by ahmadis were sold quiet a while back, if there is still some part owned by ahmadis then dear darling lawyers you are also ruining the businesses of the non-ahmadi owners. Lameness ki hadd! Lol
@ali: If you are right then what will happen if such candidates will come in national scenario.
Export Shezan to us! We have heard its good.
Ah what?! So they want to drive qadianis to economic collapse in hopes that they'd become sunnis as a consequence? Punish them into conformity? Is that their strategy to win converts? I'm guessing they have not given it any thought one way or the other because bigots are incapable of rational thinking. And to think these people are paid to do rationalizing on our behalf. shudders
Good move - also since all the rivers of pakistan come from India (read hindu) controlled territory hence all the wudhu (ablution) in this country is invalid!
Damn I miss Lemon Barley! I am having a couple as soon as I land in Lahore!
also shame on the trolls blaming PTI for this. Doesn't help the problem.
The most stupid thing ever. Lahore Bar didn't ban lawyers watching a sheila dance after a lawyers convention, instead they choose a soft target to repent. Hypocrisy at it's best.
From now on the only drink I am going to have is Shezan. Take that!
Pathetic decision...I wonder why I cannot find these stories in Urdu newspapers....
OH MY GOODNESS. I am shocked beyond words. A new low, for Pakistan. And, then we question why our country, community and economy is in the dark ages - with this kind of thinking and insane actions like banning products made by Shezan - an EXCELLENT company - the pioneer of juices and an excellent brand name let alone. Geez, absolutely sickening. I feel like going and just buying Shezan as a sign of protest.
Dont drink sheezan but drink other drink (which obv many lawyer drink) in chambers which are not halal in itself nor made by Muslims lol..shabash wakeelo..
This is insane, and do be honest very very depressing. What has gone wrong with the lawyers? If I am not mistaken everyone is equal before law so why discriminate? If by such actions they think they are proving they are very good Muslims I am waiting for their announcement, followed by action, that they have stopped using any technology, including vehicles, cell phones, TV, computers, even microphones that such dim-wits use to propagate their ideas, as I don't think any Muslim country of the great Muslim Ummah has invented or even manufactured any of this without Kaafir/non-Muslim help. We have become the biggest hypocrites in the world, and these lawyers are our true representatives. Shame on us!
What a shame,the people we call ''EDUCATED CLASS OF Pakistan'' acting like ignorant people.They should stop using internet,computer,electricity,flying planes,cause all the modern technology they are using is made by non-Muslims,these people are responsible for giving bad name to Islam and Pakistan,I am sure Gen Zia must be happy in his grave,cause he is the one who started this religious fanaticism in Pakistan.
@Sadia Mahmood:
So exercisin freedom and democracy is Shame? huh
A few days back you people were asking for it in Maya Khan case?
Now this is the SHAMEFUL
One word: SHAME!
Is there any hope for this country left?
Such behavior doesn't have any place in the modern world but religion can make wrong seem right.
@Yasser Latif Hamdani: Your resignition is pointless. More courageous would have been to be on the LBA and drink Shezan openly, if not bought from the premises then brought in. I would have done that if I were in your place.
a most regret able decision taken by lawyers.an unlawful decision taken by custodians of law.if you really want to ban the made by non Muslim start from medicine.
Long life the LLBs or
lords of last benches
, that is what law students were referred to at one time because most of those study law were characters who could not do anything else. Except for the few brainy and hardworking individuals who have made their name in the profession I would rate the majority of the blackcoats rate highly on the intellectual scale. Its was sad day for the country eversince these individuals are being taking seriouslyThese lawyers seem more impressed by Mr. Gandhi than by Mr. Jinnah. KNLF is asking lawyers to do something that is contradictory to the professional life of Quaid-e-Azam.
What Shame... extremism is on high.... God bless Pakistan and protect from Extremist
So where does the surprise part come in? Let's just say that the Lahore Bar Association isn't very well known for its progressive nature.
You've be even more petrified if you've studied European history and learned that the holocaust didn't really begin spontaneously with the atrocities at Auschwitz, it all started very gradually with posters saying, "Germans! Don't buy from Jews!" ("Kauft nicht bei Juden zu kaufen!")
The lawyers are playing to the gallery. Are the lawyers aiming to ban non-Muslim edibles? Where will they stop and what else will they ban? The list of ban items can be very interesting. Its true that whosoever the All Mighty wants to destroy, He dims their wits.
I agree with Masood Nasir. This is shameful and disgusting. These lawyers are motivated by hatred and extremism.
PTI candidate Ch Zulfiqar behind the ban
Its individual rights which product they want to use and which product they dont want to use.
so why such hue n cry about it?
What's sickening is they're following the British law i mean seriously who're they fooling? Shariah? no sorry their law friggin takes ages to bring justice to the innocent, the raped, the robbed
besides what're they gonna drink Makkah cola? Honestly I'm surprised they didn't charge the cola manufacturer of blasphemy boom pow that drink is whack tasting
oh what about those transporting cheap gin and vodka in bottles of sprite and mineral water? Hypocrites we are (0=
Congratulations to the Lahore Bar Association. Nero fiddled whilst Rome burned. Pakistan is in crisis, its economy beggared, its institutions teetering, its political system gripped by corruption and its armed forces fighting a murderous enemy that beheads its soldiers on their own territory.
And the Lahore Bar Association's response - to ban a soft drink.
Such a display of ignorance and sectarianism makes you and your members a laughing stock. You make me ashamed to be a lawyer. But perhaps I expect too much, after all Pakistan is the benighted, topsy turvy place where lawyers throw rose petals at the feet of murderers and hurl bricks at policemen.
Shame on you. Those who voted in favour of this ignorant and divisive resolution are unsuited to the profession of law with its emphasis on justice, equality and fairness. Instead, they display the neuroses and ignorant hatred of the crusader or the inquisition. A society that produces lawyers like these needs to ask itself some hard questions, or will face a very bleak future.
Had been same action taken by some Food company owned by some religious group then no one was going to say anything. Infact everyone was going to preach Freedom of Expression and Democracy.
Hypocrisy by Liberal extreemists never miss a chance to amaze me.
We should respect the Democracy and Freedom of Expression tool exercised by Laywers. No?
Titilating stuff ... Some people never fail to amaze ...and can go to any depth for showing their relevance (irr..)
What kind of lawyers are we producing? This action by LBA is shameful and disgusting.
@ Yasser Latif Hamdani: Good on you mate. I for one will make it a point to purchase only Shezan products from now on.
Had two Shezans in the Banking Court canteen. Will have Lemon Barley for Lunch. Also I have resigned from the Lahore Bar Association in protest.
@Justice: Hamid Khan? i doubt he would want to associate with something like this. could be someone from his group though. Lahore Bar and LHC are known to do cooky things.
Are we progressing or heading back to dark ages slowly and gradually?
Let us request Imran Khan and PTI to take action against Lahore Bar President Zulfiqar and Hamid Khan, both PTI leaders.
This action is not only shameful but also equal to surrender before religious fanatics. Punjab Bar Council should take serious note of this and also take stern action against lawyers who are dividing the nation on religious lines.
This ban means LBC is ready to drink foreign drinks which cost millions of dollars to nation but they do not want to drink pakistani brand just because they are owned by person whom they consider not muslim.
This ban of LBC may be interpreted as Lahore Bar does not considers Ahmadies as pakistani national and also they do not ready to give them equal rights.
i just want to ask OUR STRONG AND INDEPENDENT CHIEF JUSTICE where is he? Where is his rule of law and where is his sou motuo action?
So lawyers can arrange a mujra in celebration, but cant drink Shezan Juices!!.. Truly "Islamic Republic of Pakistan!!" Just wondering... How come there is NO BAN on Alcoholic Beverages in Islamic Republic of Pakistan, its available and even locally produced??
I think its easier to ban a products which are non-alcoholic... Alcohol brings in a lot of baggage!
Beyond shameful decision. If this is the way forward ban everything they use created by Christians and Jews as well and take Pakistan into stone age.
