Bilour, who is also a senator, allegedly made these comments during a private television show on Thursday night, following which the MQM convened an emergency meeting of its Raabta Committees in Karachi and London.
The meeting appealed to the SC to take suo motu notice of Bilour’s alleged comments.
Earlier, talking to Express News, MQM leader and Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed reiterated his party’s stance, saying that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry should take suo motu notice based on Bilour’s comments and hold him accountable.
He added that the MQM was analysing the senator’s statements from every angle and will share their final stance on the situation with the media.

I dont know why Pakistani reporters do such a poor job in reporting. They never give the main background information; in this case Bilour's statement. They assume that the reader has nothing else to do but to keep up with every piece of information on an ongoing basis. Very frustrating.
