Disabled cricket: Pakistan depart for England series

The Pakistan disabled team left for the UAE to participate in the First Disability Cricket Series.

KARACHI: The Pakistan disabled team left for the UAE to participate in the First Disability Cricket Series against their English counterparts, which starts tomorrow. The team, led by Salim Karim, will play three 40-over matches and two Twenty20s at the ICC Global Academy. Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association Secretary Amiruddin Ansari expressed high hopes for the event. “We hope that the series proves to be a resounding success,” said Ansari. “It ought to give a real boost to international disabled cricket.”
