ISLAMABAD: Calling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) an unholy troika, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said their continued alliance was destroying Pakistan politically and economically.

Imran lashed out at the current setup during a press conference at PTI’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad.

While accusing the government of corruption and non-performance, Imran said PML-N’s friendly opposition has aided the rulers in their “nefarious designs.”

“Underhand deals are being made to get the 20th Amendment through,” he further alleged.

The PTI Chairman also said the government was trying to negotiate another IMF loan to pay the earlier loans, saying it would hold the future generation hostage to the debts incurred by corrupt and wasteful government.

“The political future is compromised because of politicians’ self-interest and fatal alliances with external powers,” he added.
