According to sources, a three member bench of the Supreme Court will probe the case and had summoned Advocate General Sindh and Inspector General Sindh Mushtaq Shah in this regard, on Monday.
Domki’s wife, daughter and driver were gunned down in the wee hours on the morning of January 31 near the Gizri Bridge in Clifton.
The victims were travelling in their black Toyota Mark II car (ANR-353) when the killers reportedly intercepted them and shot them dead at point-blank range.
The deceased were also related to Baloch Republican Party (BRP) chief Brahamdagh Bugti.
The unknown assailants had managed to escape, while police officials said that the killings appeared to be the result of personal enmity.
Earlier on Friday, Interior Minister Rehman Malik had indicated that a ‘third-force’ was behind the target killing.
Malik added that the government had constituted a high-powered committee consisting of two members each from Provincial Assemblies of Balochistan and Sindh. An additional Inspector General of the Police would head the committee, which will also include representatives of the Inter Services Intelligence and the Intelligence Bureau.

Western, US, Indian and some of local electronic and print media started throwing slush on Pakistan on the name of human rights violation in Balochistan. Chief Justice of Pakistan instead taking only so motto actions on the murder, pulling security and intelligence agencies on the name of missing persons should also take so motto against Baloch lords who are playing in foreign hands inviting CIA and RAW militancy to carry out in Balochistan. Killing of wife, daughter and driver of Mir Bakhtiar Khan Domki is of course condemned able. This act of killing probably has been done by RAW and CIA with aim of fueling the issue of Balochistan. In fact this adventure of maligning and alleging country’s security forces and intelligence agency is the conspiracy against Pakistan’s solidarity and also showing the ulterior motives of CIA, MI-6 and RAW’s joint venture. US and India joint venture is aiming at (1) supporting rebels Baloch leaders for storming terrorism in Pakistan (2) Incorporating Iranian and Afghanis’ Baloch areas in purposed Greater Balochistan, (3) Declaring Pakhtune region as Al-Qaida dominated areas and targeting Gas pipeline. In short, there is a need of resolving the issue politically but at the same time foreign agents busy in fomenting terrorism, abducting and killing innocent people should also be dealt with iron hands.
@Amajad: Well said. He is hungry for cheap popularity at tax payers money and time. Will he please focus on pending cases and letting the concerned people solve it. No one is fool enough to think that his abuse of 'suo moto' will resolve murder mystery.
What is the out come of these suo motu notices ? I haven't seen any result so far of the 100's of suo motu notices, just a cheap popularity stunt!!!!
A good step indeed, a Suo Motu on human rights issue as well after so many on political issues. However, the honorable SC must move towards closure of these cases. Not even a single high profile case has been closed properly, where the public at large can see the actual justice being done to the victims.
This is very serious matter government should take note of killing of Baloch people. but Chief Justice of Pakistan just slept over 85 Ahmadies who were murdered on 28th May 21010 and killing of Ahmadies across Pakistan..
Sir, you have made a laughing of the 'suo motu' process.
Please stop doing it. Just for the record just tell us a final decision /end result of at least one 'sou motu' notice you have undertaken.......... NONE.
An other stunt aimed at cheap popularity. What happened to suo motto for dozens of killings in Karachi. Did your intervention identify any and book any culprit? The killing in Karachi is still continuing. Few more rhetorical statements will come out of this and again issue will be ignored like rest of suo mottos. These issues need serious political will and leadership not an intervention from any appointed public servant to solve as they have neither capacity and mandate. What will be your response in case of poor sepoys who were killed in retaliation? Please stop fooling yourself and rest of nation. Let political process resolve and lets encourage dialogue among the political stakeholders to solve Balochistan issue. We do not want any appointed judge or general to spoil it more. Perhaps he is trying to compensate for rejecting appeal regarding Akbar Bugti where he miserably failed to dispense justice when our judiciary was still not dry cleaned !
