Malik said that if the people of the country start criticising the Army then there will be no difference between the people and other states, including India, which malign the institution.
“The states can fight as much as they want to, but the institutions should be kept aside,” he remarked.
Stressing on Nisar to issue an apology, Malik said: “Chaudhry Nisar is like my elder brother… I hope he will apologise.”
He added that he wants to apologise to the Army, and everyone who was hurt by the statements, on behalf of the government and the parliament.
Nisar, during his speech in the National Assembly on Friday, had slammed the army and the security agencies, and had called on the prime minister to deal with them in a stern manner.
He raised the criticism in light of the recent extra-judicial killings, which included the murder of four GHQ attack suspects who were killed after being picked up from the Adiala jail.

@Colonel If you are not associated with Noon leauge, then why do you react so impulsively whenever there is any news regarding Noon league or PTI, be it on Express Tribune or some other online paper?By the way if you belong to any intellectual group( which I seriously doubt), you must know that army can not be controlled by giving such foolish statements. This can only be done by solid performance while in the govt.and winning the public towards your side.Just look at Tayyab Urdgan! @Maryam Army and ISI can not be controlled by meeting army Chief at midnights for three times to discuss the so-called security issues which can be discussed in day light.I am referring to the secret meetings of Ch.Nisar and Shahbaz Sharif during 2008 and 2009.Now, when army has turned its back towards Noon league, Ch.Nisar is making hue and cry.
@Ali Wazir: I m not associated with PML N or PPP
Instead of endorsing Ch. Nisar's remarks which probably resonate with the supporters of PPP he is asking for an apology? What a shame!
I will say "NO COMMENT' !

It's called multiple personality disorder.
@Colonel
associated with an intellectual group
Lol is this what the PML N CM Cyber team calling them selves these days. Putting those laptops to good use arent ya...
@zain: It is not a brave statement. In fact when you are in the Assembly you can say anything. Army or ISI bashing has become a fashion for our politicians because it is appreciated in Washington and that helps them in mustering support from the US leadership.
i think ch. nisar gave a very brave statement. few have guts to speak those words
PPP and PML(N) are just one and the same. Internally they are on the same page and have a common agenda of be fooling the people. Leaders of both the parties are corrupt and are busy in strengthening the hold of their respective dynasties on power. These corrupt politicians should be ashamed of themselves.

I would argue that if people were more outspoken about some of the deficiencies in the military then things would be better off in Pakistan. It's time to quit treating the Pakistan military like it was some omnipotent organization - some constructive criticism may lead to some overdue change.
I don’t think that the tussle between the institutions will ever come to an end.
All institutions right from the very beginning were suppose to be fair with each other but when one institution teased the other, there the tussle started.
Ch Nisar is only playing to the public sentiments. Extra judicial killing is not the answer, but then why is it happening? The answer is simple; because the current judicial system is not working properly. Hundreds of hard core militants are released, because because of lack of conviction. So what is the answer? Should they be released to come back and strike again and again, or should the legislators find a way out and promulgate law that protects the people involved in the judicial process, so that all terrorists are put on a fair trial, prosecuted / convicted and punished.
he was absolutely right, people who are doing extra judicial killings needs to be bring to justice. what is wrong in saying that every institute must respect the law of the country?
we need a country where there is NO missing person, we don't need a country that can held people without charges, evidence, kidnap them, murder them at their will and then throw their dead bodies on the streets/roads,
if someone has the guts to say against those murderes, then it's time we support him and not go into political cross blamings,
Apologise for what? Did someone ever apologised for losing half the country, siachin oversight, kargil embarassment, raising proxy warriors that are now out of control.
In fact Ch Nisar Statement is 100% right and this guy should have appreciated it. This is the only way we can control our Army and ISI.
What a sheer non sense is it? Both parties are playing with the nation after every 15 days a party gives remarks against army and other asks it to apologize. Yes it is frustration of PML N at memogate backing by army and rightly so they have been fooled yet again by the lack of political intellectuals in their wings (Political intellectuals are not necessarily the good states person PPP have proven it). But yes Ch Nisar is right in some way that law should be implemented equally no matter if its ISI, Judiciary, Politician, Farmer, Industrialist, Government servant or labor. Thats the only way to get out of this administrative mess we are enjoying currently.
You all politician play musical chair against armed forces.
Another possible reason or Ch. Nisar's critisism might be Army's back tracking on MEMOGATE scandal. PML-N was banking on the issue to pin-down the goverment.but feels ditched by the agencies. His extremist remarks are an effort to exhaust the frustration. And no other place better than the parliament, since assembly-hall address can not be challanged anywhere.
I m sick of this type of politics.
@Maryam: Malik u r my man, I like ur beautiful comments
@Tehreek-e-Insaf FATA: It makes more sense with PTI's politics
You are such a fool. When PPP criticize the Army then N-league ask to apologize to Army and when N-league criticize the Army then you ask them to apologize to Army. You guys have no right to rule this country.
Noora-Kushti at its Best. You Scratch my Back, I Scratch Yours. You TAUNT Me, I Taunt You. Lets make the Public FOOLS Together. This is the story of PMLN and PPP Politics.
