Sit-in: PMA protests against doctors’ killing

Pakistan Medical Association called for thorough investigations into the killing and kidnapping of doctors.

HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Sindh Chapter, has called for thorough investigations into the killing and kidnapping of doctors in order to stop such incidents that are forcing doctors to migrate to save their lives.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, PMA’s General Secretary Dr Pir Manzoor Ali and others condemned the killing of Dr Jaffer Hussain Rizvi and Dr Ashfaq Qazi in Karachi and the kidnapping of Dr Abdul Wahab Sangi in Larkana.

Dr Ali said that in protest against these incidents, doctors observed a token boycott and wore black armbands.
