Academic tour: EU delegation visits Karachi University
A two-member European Union (EU) delegation visited the Karachi University on Wednesday.
KARACHI:
A two-member European Union (EU) delegation visited the Karachi University on Wednesday to discuss further collaborations in the country’s higher education sector. The EU delegation deputy head Pierre Mayaudon and first counselor for trade, political affairs and communication Alexandre Borges Gomes were welcomed by the dean of science, Dr Darakhshan J Haleem. The diplomats were given a tour of the Centralised Science Laboratory, National Centre for Proteomics, Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, Hussain Ebrahim Jamal Research Institute of Chemistry, and Area Study Centre for Europe.
