ISLAMABAD: The National Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament 2012 kicked off yesterday at the Shalimar Tennis Club, with the opening day featuring 21 matches in various categories. The under-14 event saw Maaz Nadeem beat Muhammad Luqman 4-1, while Aman Attique defeated Fatah Umar 4-2. Sheheryar Hussain overcame Rizwan Akram 4-2, while Raja Sikandar outplayed Ismail Umar 4-1. Muhammad Ali, Farhan Khan and Muhammad Ibrahim also registered victories in their respective clashes.
