Balochistan faced a humiliating defeat against Punjab after being bundled out for 107 in the first-innings and losing an early wicket in the second to trail by 323 runs on the second day of their Pentangular Cup clash, according to information provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Punjab, who declared their first-innings on 440 for eight after a century by Usman Salahuddin, were in control with Mohammad Khalil’s five-wicket haul that sent Balochistan reeling in just the 33rd over at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Forced to follow-on, Balochistan lost a wicket as they negotiated four overs to reach 10 at stumps.

Elsewhere, Federal Areas gained a healthy 248-run first-innings lead against Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) after a superb century by Shan Masood. Masood made 127 and helped Federal Areas reach 453 for seven in 109 overs after K-P were bundled out for a modest 205 in the first-innings on the opening day.
