5 Pakistani prisoners released by India handed over to Edhi Foundation

A special team of Edhi personnel reached Wahga border and fed the prisoners.

LAHORE: Pakistan Rangers officials handed over five Pakistani prisoners, released by Indian government to Edhi Foundation on Tuesday.

On the order of Abdul Sattar Edhi, a special team of Edhi personnel had travelled to the Wahga border to receive the prisoners.

Ali Akbar, 19 from Faisalabad, Iftikhar Kumar, 22 from Larkana, Abdul Ghaffar, 45 from Karachi, Imtiaz Ali, 40 from Badin and Allah Dino, 45 from Badin were released by India.

According to Edhi spokesman, the prisoners released from different jails in India, were transported to Edhi Home Gulberg where they will be given food and accommodation.
