Precautionary step: Govt bans pillion riding in Karachi

The ban will be effective from February 1 to February 5.

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh on Tuesday imposed a ban on pillion riding in Karachi starting February 1, Express News has reported.

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan, while addressing a press conference, said that the ban will be effective from February 1 to February 5.

The government had earlier banned pillion riding in the city ahead of the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
