K-P jails now army detention centres for militants
K-P Information Minister Mian Iftikhar says so far, around 107 militants transferred.

A total of 1,008 detained militants are to be transferred to newly established detention centres in Kohat and Lakki Marwat from Peshawar Central Jail, Khyber-Pakthunkhwa (K-P) Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said on Monday.
Briefing the media following a provincial cabinet meeting on law and order, Mian Iftikhar said that so far, around 107 militants have been transferred.
The information minister also said that the cabinet has directed that the names of ‘hardline militants’ identified by the assistant inspector general of prisons (AIG Prisons) be provided to the Special Branch, and that this list should later be provided to the chief secretary, so that these militants may be shifted to the new military facilities.
