Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan allegedly assaulted former close friend Farah Khan’s husband and filmmaker Shirish Kunder at a party thrown by actor Sanjay Dutt on Sunday, Indian newspaper The Hindustan Times reported.
The argument apparently started when Khan confronted Kunder about his remarks on Khan’s movie RA.One, which the superstar had also produced. During RA.One’s release, Kunder had tweeted: “I just heard a 150 Cr firework fizzle.”
When things got out of hand, Dutt had to intervene to stop the brawl. Later, Dutt and another guest Sameer Arya reportedly escorted Khan out.
Filmmaker Farah Khan confirmed the incident. “Shirish, my husband, was beaten up by Shah Rukh and his three bodyguards at Sanjay Dutt’s party. Shah Rukh asked Shirish why he had tweeted against him ... There was no provocation from our side. He had screamed at Shirish telling him that he would destroy me as well,” the choreographer-director told Headlines Today.
Farah also SMSed reporters: “Shah Rukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem and that it means the person who’s hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on, and it saddens me to see him doing the same (sic).”

i am an SRK fan, but it saddens me to know that he slapped someone like that. He lost his grace and coolness.
i have watched all of SRK's films and yes, Ra.One was one of the worst. But why he lost his cool over it is beyond my understanding. Loosing and winning is part of life.
but, SRK, we still love you.
SRK is now insecure and he is unable to accept the fact that his time is now over.He is a chain smoker and it now shows on his face which makes him look like really old.Anyone can beat with 3 BodyGuards around.. if he had spine,he wud have done it alone. SRK........he has lost his cool after Ra.one flopped big time. He was weired in his interview on NDTV while promoting don 2. He has lost to Salman,Aamir,Ajay,Akshay and Hrithik. This was expected from him since the success he got he did'nt deserve and he knew that.

SRK should learn a thing or two from the likes of Sanju Baba...he should have been man enough to take on Shirish alone. But, for a man who couldn't take a critique gracefully, nothing else could be expected.
An act someone does against his will is not his act. SRK was forced to act the way he did - he is everyone's favorite and am sure guards his reputation as zealously as any man.
People couldnt take RA-One, people who commented against the movie Indians themselves, are either lost or have NO Freaking Idea how difficult is it do VFX work, Indians should have been proud that all was in-house in their country ..
Accept it or not its a new form of art yes its cheesy but it is, before commenting on any movie just go out and trying making a 1 Min movie.. or less even without VFX, you will automatically learn respect for other filmmakers

Another strong evidence that Ra one was flop!!! Four duds in 5 years is too much for any star.Don-2 is the only face saving pictire but did not beat even bodyguard. Aamir Khan took the number 1 mantle 7 years ago. SRK keeps dreaming that he is number one. Another hit-either Aamirs Talaash or Salmaan's will be the end of the chapter for SRK.

Shirish Kunder's Jaan-e-man was entertainig. Shahrukh and Farah Khan both make equally crappy movies; they should slap each other.

There are many comments in this forum supporting the actors beating up of another person. No wonder there is so much violence in this society when common people justify violence even though they have no relationship with either of the people involved.
We never expected such an absurd act from SRK. There must be some real reason behind it and I beleive that farhan khan's husband must have said something really humiliating which provoked SRK to put his fist on him.

@darshil safi: Everybody has a right to voice his opinion. Doesn't mean that SRK can physically attack him. Sirish is a nobody but that is not the issue here.

It has been a double whammy for SRK. His movies have flopped recently and even more painful than that is the success of his archenemy Salman. The last 4 movies of Salman have been hits which must be pretty hard to take for SRK. No wonder he lost it.
