Karachi Energy and Islamabad United failed to score any goal during the first 90 minutes of their semi-final, but Karachi’s Mohammad Essa netted a goal in the first minute of injury time which was equalised by Islamabad’s Mohammad Rana two minutes later, leading to penalty shootouts. Essa, Abdul Aziz, Aurangzeb senior and Saddam Hussain scored for Karachi, while Mohammad Umer scored the penalty for Islamabad.
Lahore’s Mohammad Adil scored the first goal in the third minute in their clash against Quetta.
