New beginnings: ST to stand in elections as PST

Its first public meeting would be organised at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore on March 23.

The Sunni Tehreek (ST) announced on Sunday that it was launching its political movement by the name of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) and its first public meeting would be organised at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore on March 23.


The group would contest the next election by the name of PST as well, announced its chief Muhammad Sarwat Ejaz Qadri while addressing a “Pakistan Bachao Jan Nisaran-e-Mustafa Conference” organised by at Nishtar Park. He said the Pakistan Islam Students Federation (PISF) of the ST has also opened its units at universities and colleges.
