Burning boots: Shoe factory reduced to ashes

BHAKKAR: A shoe warehouse located behind the Saddar police station caught fire on Sunday afternoon. According to police officials, Rescue 1122 officials and the fire brigade soon arrived at the scene and took nearly five hours to put out the fire. Eyewitnesses told police officials that the fire started in the densely populated locality near Saddar Kilkat Town when a shoe warehouse caught fire after a short circuit. Shoes worth thousands of rupees were burnt to ashes. No casualties were reported at the scene and police officials have registered a case and are investigating.
