Model Stations: Certificates awarded after training

The training course included lectures on dealing with public, police station culture, field assignments among others.

LAHORE: A certificate distribution ceremony was held on Saturday for station house officers (SHOs) who have recently completed a one-week training course ahead of placement at model police stations to be set up in the city. Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal distributed certificates among the successful officers at the event arranged at Police Department’s Management and Professional Development Department. The training course included lectures on dealing with public, police station culture, field assignments, anti-corruption strategies, concept of model police station, terrorism and extremism, leadership and supervision, community policing and media management. Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal, AddIG (R&D) Malik Khuda Bukish Awan, Additional IG (Training) Sarmad Saeed and DIG Amjad Javed Saleemi also delivered lectures during the training.
