Cricket: UBL down HBL to lift trophy

UBL defeated HBL by 18 runs to win the 10th State Bank Governor’s Inter-Bank Cricket Tournament final held at the SBP Sports Complex, Karachi. Batting first, UBL posted 154 after useful knocks from Hasan Mehmood (44) and Tariq Iqbal (43). In reply, HBL could only score 136 for seven off their quota of 20 overs. Tajuddin bagged two wickets for UBL. Meanwhile, SBP Governor’s XI beat Karachi Bankers Club by eight wickets in a 12-over exhibition match held at the same venue.
