PML-Q: Mahar’s resignation not in

PML-Q’s Haleem Adil Shaikh says Shujaat annoyed by Mahar’s choice of words.

KARACHI: The general secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid (PML-Q) said that according to party leader Chaudhry Shujaat, Shaharyar Mahar’s comments about the chief minister were personal, not party policy.  While talking to the media after a meeting with Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, he said that Mahar had not sent a resignation to the party as yet. PML-Q’s Haleem Adil Shaikh said Shujaat was annoyed by Mahar’s choice of words. He added that the party would support the government’s version of the resolution moved by the Jatoi brothers and would contest the upcoming Senate elections.
