Illegal detention: Shadman SHO told to record complaint against MPA
Earlier, the SHO told the court PML-N MPA Mohsin Latif had rejected the allegations.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Arif Hameed Sheikh on Friday directed the Shadman police station house officer to record a petitioner’s complaint seeking prosecution of a member of the Punjab Assembly for allegedly illegally detaining him and making him sign under duress some blank papers.
Earlier, the SHO told the court PML-N MPA Mohsin Latif had rejected the allegations. He said the MPA had told police that he had distanced himself from the matter. He said the petitioner Mian Nazeer had earlier wanted the MPA to adjudicate a dispute between him and one Shahid Latif.
The SHO said the petitioner had never approached the police with a complaint in the matter.
The petitioner had contended in the petition that he had gone to the police station to file a complaint but the SHO refused to listen to him.
