Tribune Take: Is US rejection of Pakistan's investigation report 'jingoism'?
Gulraiz Khan, Senior Sub-editor at The Express Tribune, says such military reports are made for public consumption and jingoism. In actuality, he says Pakistan has made its point by blocking NATO supply routes for almost two months now, and asserting their sovereignty ten years into the war.
Khan says the current government, though, holds enough of a majority in the parliament to restart the flow of NATO supplies soon.

@numbersnumbers: no its not and the reason for that is that pakistan army's regular unit was attacked and they are basing thier statement on ground realities rather then baseless lies of NATO and US army to hide the evil designs of terrorising allys in war on terror.

The reason why Pakistan refused to participate in the joint investigation with NATO this time is because Pak Army knew it would be a futile exercise.
They've done joint investigations with NATO on similar incidents in the past (remember, these 'friendly-fire' incidents have happened quite a few times), and the result was always inconclusive or brashly done by NATO (Pak Army has given this exact reason numerous times, but i guess you refuse to read, since you're more interested in trolling).
When a NATO gunship returns TWICE to attack a distinct Pakistani checkpost, even after repeated distress calls, it's pretty obvious this attack WASN'T a friendly fire incident.
Bet this NATO attack issue is going to be mega-memo and new head ach for pakistan. For how long we would be consumed by these other than our real issues?
Pakistan's refusal to participate in a joint investigation combined with the immediate condemnation before they had time to perform their own investigation makes it clear that they are using this tragedy to further political goals. The lack of any international support/sympathy is a good sign that Pakistan's approach to this issue could have been better handled.
