RAWALPINDI: The city police have made headway in tracking the six students who went missing under unexplained circumstances four days ago, a police official privy to the investigations told The Express Tribune on Sunday. The police official said that students’ last location has been traced using the cell phone number of one of the students. He was hopeful that the students will be traced “very soon”. Meanwhile, the Airport police formed a team to investigate the case and also requested the Regional Police Officer to initiate a departmental action against the sub-inspector who owns the private school in Chaklala Scheme-III where the six 9th and 10th graders studied. The decision was taken in response to allegations by parents that their children escaped from the school after being beaten by the teachers, a charge the school’s principal has denied.
