ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador Lio Jian called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Friday for an exchange of views on matters of common interest. They discussed issues prevailing in the country and the region. Khan explained to the ambassador the PTI ‘tsunami’, and how the party has gained electoral credibility and public support. The PTI chief also claimed that his was the only party that could end the polarisation in the country. Khan expressed admiration for the Chinese road to progress and its anti-corruption laws. He informed the ambassador that once PTI came to power, China would have a true friend in a corruption-free and people-friendly Pakistan.
