ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador Lio Jian called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Friday for an exchange of views on matters of common interest. They discussed issues prevailing in the country and the region. Khan explained to the ambassador the PTI ‘tsunami’, and how the party has gained electoral credibility and public support. The PTI chief also claimed that his was the only party that could end the polarisation in the country. Khan expressed admiration for the Chinese road to progress and its anti-corruption laws. He informed the ambassador that once PTI came to power, China would have a true friend in a corruption-free and people-friendly Pakistan. Ambassador Jian took the opportunity to reiterate his country’s position of not interfering in the internal affairs of any other country.

@TsunamiLota - Just save your breath . . . .too many negative thoughts are unhealthy! Be positive my friend if you want to travel on the road to peace and progress!!
@TsunamiLota: Did I mention that talking to the Taleban doesn't mean letting them run the country? The country is polarized, you can't kill off everyone, you're going to have to reason with them and take away the reasons for extremism (Afghan war, poverty, drugs, anger et al). The psychologist does not kill his patient, he talks to them, lets them express themselves and then paves the road to recovery. There has to be reconciliation in Pakistani society, and talking to the enemy is one way of bringing people together.
Go team imran.............
Did Imran tell Lio Jian his plan to give the Taliban a free run over the country? Maybe China will be so inspired by Imran they'll do the same in Xinjiang. ;o)
Did he tell them about his team??
