Cops & Kidnappers: Man alleges he was abducted by cops

Victim alleges that the abductors were officials working at the Lahore Shafiqabad Khokhran chowki.

SARGODHA: An abducted youth was released after his family paid Rs1 million in ransom in Salanwali tehsil. According to police officials, 27-year-old Shah Ali said that four unidentified people, who he alleged were police officials, abducted him on December 22 and later demanded a ransom of Rs9 million. “I was let go near Sheikhupura interchange after my family paid Rs1 million,” he said. Shah Ali alleged that the abductors were officials working at the Lahore Shafiqabad Khokhran chowki. CIA police are investigating.
