Health Care: SIUT and APWA set up a dialysis centre
The SIUT-APWA Akram Khatoon Medical Center was inaugurated on Friday by Mrs Laila Haroon Sarfaraz.

The SIUT-APWA Akram Khatoon Medical Center was inaugurated on Friday by Mrs Laila Haroon Sarfaraz, the president of All Pakistan Women’s Association. The centre has been set up with the help of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation and will have dialysis faculties for people from Central and West Karachi. Ten dialysis machines were already working at the centre and approximately 7,000 dialysis sessions will be conducted annually.
