KARACHI: Maaz Farooqui, an activist of the Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT), was dropped by near Abdullah College by his abductors late Thursday night. A welcome reception was held at his house in which the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islaami and the IJT were present. Jamaat-e-Islami leader Naseem Siddiqui said that abductions of civilians had caused the families of victims to go through physical, mental, emotional and financial pain. He urged the government to ensure the release of all the kidnapped JI workers and other missing persons.
