Sohail Tanvir grabbed six wickets as Punjab were bundled out for 226 in their first-innings on the second day against Federal Areas.

After hitting an impressive half-century that enabled his team to reach 223, Tanvir destroyed Punjab’s batting line-up in their Pentangular Cup. Haris Sohail made 77 but got little support from the other end. In reply, Federal Areas reached 29 for no loss at stumps.

Elsewhere, Sindh threw away a superb start to be bundled out for 403 in the first-innings against Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). Resuming on 316 for three following tons from Aqeel Anjum and Faisal Iqbal, Yasir Shah took four wickets to bring K-P back in the game.

However, the celebration was short-lived as Mohammad Sami and Tabish Khan claimed a brace each to reduce K-P to 160 for six in reply.
